Private wealth advisory practice, Allegiant Private Wealth, based in Ocean City, Maryland, has joined the independent channel of Ameriprise Financial from Merrill Lynch.

The firm has more than $300 million in assets. 

The practice is led by private wealth advisor Christine Selzer, and includes PWAs Brian Selzer and Brody Grove.

“After two decades of operating within a bank structure, it became clear that our long-term vision was better aligned with an independent model,” Christine Selzer, said.

The practice includes administrative assistant Kendall Holmes and client relationship manager Melanie Konoski. They are supported locally by Ameriprise franchise field VP Athena McGuire and Ameriprise regional VP Thomas North.

US wealth manager Raymond James welcomed a $950 million team of 10 financial advisors to Raymond James Financial Services – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Kirk Bell, central division director for RJFS.

Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with offices throughout Texas, Springs Wealth Group is led by managing partners Bob Book, Andrew Inman, Tim Mason, Chris Van Stavern, and Chris Young. They are joined by financial advisors Kristen Christensen, Travis Crowell, Bryan Ladrow, Camden Steele and Jerrad Bridgmon, as well as 13 branch professionals.

The team – from Ameriprise Financial – previously managed about $950 million in client assets. Together, they provide personalized and comprehensive financial services to clients which include business owners, families and those in or nearing retirement.

“Making a transition isn’t something we take lightly. That being said, we are extremely excited for the enhanced experience that partnering with Raymond James will provide for both our clients and the entire team at Springs Wealth Group,” Inman said.
